Long Time No See!

Hello! Dang it's been forever since I did something here! Well sorry, I kinda went back to traditional art because I was having some trouble with figuring out how to actually DRAW! Anyway I'll try to post some tuff soon, I hope . . . maybe?
Finals wee is HERE!! And I'm kinda nervous. Actually I'm very afraid. More like terrified really. But lets try our hardest!
And its December already, which is crazy, but I don't think Arizona got the memo. I'm serious, the leaves are still falling of the trees and wore shorts and a T- shirt outside today!
Well hope you guys are all having an awesome time! If you've got finals good luck on them! Do you absolute best! And a have an awesome life!

Updates, contest prizes, and watermelon

Helloooo!!! L.V. here! I'm sorry the contest prizes are taking forever! I went back to doing traditional art (which is easier for me to do) so now I'm really getting started on every thing! And all my friends down here are gone!!! ;A; But I guess it'll help me focus on art more!! Also, if you're looking for a good futuristic action book read Unwind. I just finished it and its REALLY great!!! Its also a series!
So I'm starting up on the contest prizes first and then I'll go get some requests done! I really need to improve so request are sorta my way of figuring out my style. Also, I do NOT do commissions! And my watermelon in the fridge is all gone!! ;A; Oh well, better get another one!

Just a little thought . . .

Hello! I'm sure all of you heard about the tornado that Oklahoma. It shocked me how unexpected it was. One minute it was just a regular day and the next . . . So people were hurt and killed in that disaster.
And so many were left with broken hearts and shattered souls. Those "lucky" ones walk down their torn up streets and think to themselves "What's so lucky about living?" They may cry and act numb because on the inside they are trying to stitch back together their heart and soul with a broken needle and a 5 in piece of thread.
So many people will eat at a table with by empty chairs staring back at them. Their emotions are an overflowing damn with a crack down the middle ready to burst but they know they can't!
They know they need to keep it it together for the little ones who stare up at them with wide eyes asking "Are my friends ok?" They'll put a smiling mask over their face and answer "Yes they are." A lie.
So many broken protecters of people giving other's their happiness in order to keep even when they can't keep hope themselves. Who will help them.
A man walks up to a woman and gives her his coat saying "It's cold outside." The man is a protecter. The woman takes the coat along with new found hope. She goes to her daughter who's soul has been shaken and prepares a nice dinner for with calm soothing words to comfort her as she eats. The woman is a healer. The daughter, know filled with hope continues her and runs into a boy with clouded eyes. She brings him a ball and plays will him all day, long after his smile was back. She is a guardian. The boy smiles once more and goes back to his new "home" back to his father. The son smiles up at him and hugs him while mumbling gentling the strongest words "I love you." To which the father replies "I love you too." The boy is a helper. It wasn't until the next day the boy noticed his father didn't have his coat with him.
It seems that best of humanity comes out in us when disasters hit. Even we are broken and feel as though we can not carry on, we do. But sometimes we need a little help from others. We may not we the strongest, the smartest, the fastest, or the prettiest. But by Lord, we will do what ever we can to keep hope.
We'll help up those who fall just as others do for us. The smallest spark of kindness can do so much. Support, pray, and hope the best to all those in the disaster.
And to those who went through it. I'd like to say I may not know you and I may not have ever met you, but I do love you with all my heart. Please stay strong. It will get better, the scars will heal, and sun will shine again. I promise you.
